Cultural Triangle Eco Luxury
- BE A CULTURE VULTURE and stay in style -
Enjoy a peaceful stay in this eco luxury resort in the heart of the Cultural Triangle area. We have been staying here for years and fall in love with its serene charm every time we visit.
This private nature reserve is idyllic, lush, eco-centric, authentic and calming. When you arrive you immediately feel relaxed. The hideaway immerses you in its natural Sri Lankan habitat amongst the reed beds, a lake and even paddy fields (that are seeded and harvested seasonally).
The small number of dwellings here are spacious, comfortable, architecturally interesting with thatched roofs and lots of glass that take in the surrounding flora and fauna. The interiors are styled to reflect a traditionally Sri Lankan outlook. These cabana style rooms are dotted around the 28 acre resort, affording guests privacy and a sense of having the place to yourselves, even when it’s full (which it often is as it gets booked up very quickly and far in advance). We get so much great feedback from our many guests that stay here.
The food and service is wonderful, the spa is gorgeous and really good value for money compared to some other places and overall staying here makes for a very relaxing and serene experience.
The location is super, as it’s a great base from which to do lots of wildlife and cultural experiences.

Lots of people that stay here absolutely love it and it's not hard to see why. Here's a selection of some comments...
"We stayed here for three nights of our Sri Lanka tour, we were blown away by the calm, relaxing atmosphere which they have created and the amount of wildlife we saw there. It was the perfect. The reception area and library are very zen like!"
"I cannot speak highly enough about our experience at this beautiful and tranquil hotel. We were welcomed warmly by the staff, who were efficient, pleasant and friendly throughout our stay. The accommodation was among the best I have ever stayed in (I have done a fair bit of travelling) I would recommend this hotel to anyone."
"We have just stayed for 3 nights and have been amazed at how beautiful the location and accommodation is. So close to the wildlife parks too - where we saw multiple elephant at close proximity. There is an abundance of wildlife on the hotel site - a fantastic night walk with the naturalist revealed many slender loris, a great spot! Our room has been excellent with a huge bath and plunge pool. The staff so friendly and helpful. If you come to sri lanka you should definitely stay here!!"
"We loved this hotel! It was perfect for relaxing after sightseeing around the cultural triangle. Our villa was understated luxury and the staff were charming, attentive, contactable and discreet. The main buildings were minimal and it was beautiful sitting in the library area watching birds and fish across the lake. The hotel provided some special delightful treats to celebrate our honeymoon."
